Olympic Legacy Lands at Regent Gymnastics Club
Regent Gymnastics Club received world-class equipment used during the Paris Olympics, which inspired development for club gymnasts and the Jersey gymnastic community. The donation, which includes a vault, bars, pommel horse, beams, and a competition-standard floor, still carries the chalk marks of Olympians like Simone Biles and Max Whitlock.

The equipment was provided through a partnership with the International Gymnastics (IGA), reflecting the shared commitment to nurturing gymnastics talent in the Channel Islands. The equipment has being installed and used by our gymnasts, marking a historic moment for the club.
A Gift Rooted in Commitment
Chris Adams, CEO of the IGA, explained why Jersey was chosen for this generous donation:
“I think the Channel Islands deserves a little bit of investment, and Regent Gymnastics Club has an incredible history of developing gymnastics culture on the island. The equipment was shipped from Paris to Lancashire, then to Portsmouth, and finally brought to Regent Gymnastics Club, where it took three days to assemble.”
Adams highlighted the importance of providing young gymnasts with opportunities to train with elite equipment to inspire their progress.
A Call to Preserve Fort Regent
Mr Falle added;
“We’re hoping that everything will stay as it is, and we will not be moved. This facility has so much potential, and it should be fully utilized.”
With state-of-the-art equipment and the backing of the IGA, the club is poised to inspire the next generation of gymnasts in Jersey.
